CLOOS has opened a new 5,000 m² facility in Istanbul in June, marking a strategic move to tighten its presence across Turkey and the MENA region. With 25 employees on site, the facility aims to make advanced welding solutions more accessible while allowing for faster, more region-specific service and support. For welders and automation professionals, it’s another sign that localized expertise and infrastructure are becoming more central to the industry’s evolution.

One of the standout features of this new space is a 500 m² training center—something the welding trade rarely gets enough of. Alongside areas dedicated to service, demos, installation, and robot system assembly, the site is clearly built to support both hands-on learning and practical system integration. It’s not just about selling machines; it’s about showing how they work and supporting welders through every step of implementation.

As welding continues to shift toward automation and integrated technologies, having local resources that can guide workers and engineers through the complexity is essential. The Istanbul facility seems poised to do just that—offering a practical bridge between high-end welding solutions and the actual needs on the shop floor.
